Metro Bulgaria has opened its first renovated franchise site in Bulgaria under the name of “My Store”.
The program is one of the main company projects – a soft franchise model that brings together independent traders under one brand. The company says it is a sustainable B2B2C business model that will allow merchants to offer a more attractive customer experience and be more profitable.
“With the restart of the franchise network, Metro Bulgaria aims to help small and medium-sized store owners be more successful in one of the most competitive sectors. By providing a package of services and price conditions within the brand “My Store”, we aim to help preserve the share of traditional trade in the country and the development of local communities,” said Nikola Gotron, CEO of Metro Bulgaria.
By autumn, Metro will open a second pilot site under the brand “My Store” with the ambition to become the largest network of its kind in the country by 2026.
