Eurohold and Doverie Boost Bulgarian Equity Indices

All five indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) went up on Monday. The main index, SOFIX, rose by 0.55% to 848.63 points. This was mainly thanks to a 4.08% increase in Eurohold Bulgaria, which reached 1.53 levs, and a 1.51% rise in Doverie United Holding, closing at 8.06 levs.

Eurohold and Doverie’s gains also helped other indices move higher. Poultry producer Gradus added 1.96% to 1.04 levs, pushing the BGBX40 index, which tracks 40 popular stocks, up by 0.24% to 166.60 points. The BGTR30 index, which includes companies with at least 10% free float, rose slightly by 0.05% to 846.96 points.

The BGREIT index, focused on real estate investment trusts, increased by 0.41% to 213.95 points. This was supported by a 3.13% jump in Sopharma Buildings REIT, which reached 16.50 levs.

The BEAMX index, which tracks growth companies, saw the biggest gain, rising 1.36% to 97.68 points. A standout performer was Dronamics Capital, linked to the cargo drone developer Dronamics, which surged by 6.80% to 2.20 levs.

Trading on the Sofia bourse was very active, with total turnover jumping to over 15.8 million levs from 1.01 million levs on Friday. Premium Property Invest REIT recorded the highest turnover, with nearly 1.79 million shares traded, totaling about 2.15 million levs. Its stock price climbed by 7.14% to 1.20 levs.
